ABOUT COAT
The County Officials Association of Tennessee (COAT) is comprised of County Clerks, Registers of Deeds, State Court Clerks, and Trustees from all across the state of Tennessee. Our association maintains a voice for county government on Capitol Hill during the legislative season. We also provide networking opportunities for our members, facilitate training and updates throughout the year, and help our members connect with industry vendors. Our main goal here at COAT is to make sure our members have the tools and support they need to be as successful as possible in their counties. Our slogan is #StrongerCountiesStrongerTennessee and that is what we truly believe.
CONFERENCE
The 58th Annual COAT Conference will be held at the MeadowView Conference Resort & Convention Center, located at 1901 MeadowView Parkway, Kingsport, TN 37660.

REGISTRATION
You will be registering through our new software, Engagifii. If you have already registered for the 2026 Regionals or any of 2025’s events, it will be a very simple process for you. If you are brand new to Engagifii, there will be a couple of extra steps, but I have been told it is fairly easy. If you have forgotten your login credentials, simply click on the “Forgot Password” link on the main login screen below the blue “Login” button.
If you are registering for yourself and another county employee – you will NOT select Add Guest. That button is to add a spouse or non-county employee guest (eg. spouse, friend, etc.). County employees will click the box beside each name you wish to register. If you need to add a county employee, you will select Add Person and enter their information. Each county employee has a registration fee of $265 and each non-county employee attendee has a $175 registration fee.
Early registration (before 8/22) will get you a $25 discount on your registration fee, so don’t delay!! Late registration (after 9/30) will cost $25 extra.
You will receive your invoice immediately upon registering, but you must remember to download it from the Engagifii site. I know learning new software is not always super fun, but I truly believe this will streamline the whole process. Of course, if you have questions – please reach out to me and I will do my best to help.
The vendor registration deadline is October 15.
LODGING
As in years past, you will be responsible for booking your own room. We do have a block reserved and the room rate is $154 per room/per night/plus applicable taxes/fees. Once you submit the registration form in Engagifii, a link to book your hotel room will be in your confirmation email.
Parking: Parking is free!!
